Druckkunst in Kleine Weltlaterne

An exhibition of print art at the "Kleine Weltlaterne" gallery and jazz pub, which celebrates its 65th anniversary on February 28, 2026.

Founded in 1961 in Kreuzberg by Hertha Fiedler, mother of the current owner, Bernd Fiedler.

In 1974, Weltlaterne moved to Nestorstraße 22, already operating as a "restaurant with an art gallery" at the time. This move to Nestorstraße saw the exhibition space expanded to include a "night gallery" on the first floor—now a studio featuring a "purple room" with walls lined entirely by screen prints from their resident artist, Friedrich Schröder-Sonnenstern.
